South Korea’s PFC Technologies Inc. (PFCT) has acquired AIForesee, the alternative credit scoring subsidiary of defunct Indonesian peer-to-peer lending firm Investree, DealStreetAsia reported.
Founded in 2020, AIForesee uses machine learning algorithms and non-traditional data sources—including telecommunications, social media, and payment data—to assess the creditworthiness of businesses with limited or no access to conventional credit.
Its core offering, Scoreezy, is a web-based platform that enables financial institutions to evaluate loan applications from both individual entrepreneurs and corporate borrowers seeking working capital.
PFCT, which was set up in 2015, operates two major platforms: Airpack, an AI-powered lending and risk management solution for financial institutions, and Credit Planet, a consumer-focused platform in South Korea offering AI-driven financial services such as loans, investments, and credit management tools.
Following the acquisition from Investree, AIForesee’s chief executive Christian Limawan said the company’s local market expertise and agility would complement PFCT’s technology capabilities, accelerating financial innovation and digital transformation efforts in Indonesia and the wider region.
