Luno has secured a Digital Financial Asset Trader (PAKD) license from Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK).

The regulatory approval allows the global cryptocurrency exchange to operate as a regulated digital asset trader under Indonesia’s digital asset investment framework.

Luno has also appointed Iman Sudargo as its new Country Head for Indonesia. Sudargo will oversee the company’s business operations and strategy in the domestic market.

In his new role, Sudargo will focus on strengthening digital asset literacy and promoting responsible cryptocurrency adoption across Indonesia.

The company said the OJK license and new leadership appointment will support its efforts to provide safe, simple, and trusted crypto investment products for customers in Indonesia.
