Central Finansial X (CFX) has launched Indonesia’s first crypto asset index.
The CFX10 index tracks the performance of the ten leading digital assets on the exchange’s registry to provide a consolidated benchmark for market participants.
The index draws on trading data reported directly to the exchange to calculate the performance of its constituent assets. CFX applies a market capitalisation weighting to the selected cryptocurrencies.

“When discussing the crypto asset market, there has yet to be a single benchmark that can represent the overall condition of Indonesia’s crypto market,”
said Subani, President Director, Central Finansial X.
“The introduction of the CFX10 index provides crypto consumers with a credible reference built upon a transparent methodology.”
CFX will review the index constituents every three months to maintain market relevance.
The inaugural list includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, XRP, Solana, Tron, Dogecoin, Hyperliquid, Bitcoin Cash, and Cardano.
Assets must meet four specific criteria for inclusion in the CFX10. A token needs a monthly trading volume exceeding the registry average over the preceding quarter, and it must trade across a minimum number of licensed platforms meeting the industry average.
The methodology explicitly excludes stablecoins, wrapped assets, and staked assets. From the remaining eligible pool, CFX selects the final ten based on their global market capitalisation.
The launch builds on earlier initiatives by the exchange to institutionalise the sector, including the rollout of market data services and the Digital Financial Asset List (DAKD).
Subani indicated the index will serve as the foundation for future product development. CFX plans to use the benchmark to support the creation of innovative derivative products for the domestic market.
