ShopeePay is offering cashback of up to Rp100,000 on QRIS payments, in support of Bank Indonesia’s push to expand QRIS adoption nationally, according to investortrust.id.

The campaign, called “Bayar QRIS Pasti Cashback Saldo hingga Rp100.000,” runs alongside a separate “SPayLater Bayar QRIS Diskon 50%” promotion from September 1 to October 31.

Users earn cashback to their ShopeePay balance for qualifying QRIS transactions made by scanning a merchant’s QRIS code through the ShopeePay app.

The promo applies at any QRIS merchant, covering everyday purchases from neighbourhood warung and UMKM stalls to national chains such as Alfamart, Indomaret, Chatime and Vivo petrol stations, according to Disway Malang.

Users paying via SPayLater on QRIS transactions get a separate 50% discount at participating merchants during the same period.

ShopeePay supports multiple payment sources for QRIS transactions, including ShopeePay Saldo, SeaBank, SPayLater, and credit or debit cards, depending on availability and terms.

“QRIS has become part of how people transact, from shopping at neighbourhood warung to paying at their favourite merchants,” said Eka Nilam Dari, President Director of ShopeePay Indonesia.

“We want the benefits we offer to reach more transactions. Through this campaign, users can get cashback when paying with QRIS at various merchants, alongside the option to pay with SPayLater and its range of benefits.”

The campaign comes as digital transaction volume in Indonesia reached 5.50 billion transactions in July 2026, up 28.69% year-on-year, according to Bank Indonesia data.

QRIS had 60.77 million users as of February 2026, and ShopeePay ranks among Indonesia’s most widely used e-wallets, alongside GoPay, DANA, OVO and LinkAja.
