VENTENY, which provides productive financing for MSMEs and operates the VENTENY Employee Super App focused on employee welfare, has secured US$5.5 million in funding from the Women’s Livelihood Bond 7 (WLB7), managed by the Impact Investment Exchange (IIX).
The programme is a cross-border portfolio that aims to empower women and girls, enhance economic resilience, and promote environmental sustainability.
The funding will support VENTENY’s expansion across Indonesia and increase access to financial services and welfare programmes for workers in both formal and informal sectors.
By providing working capital to women-owned or women-led MSMEs, the initiative seeks to strengthen financial inclusion among low-income and rural communities, contributing to sustainable business development and Indonesia’s inclusive growth agenda.

“The collaboration with WLB7 not only supports VENTENY’s sustainable growth but also reinforces our commitment to financial inclusion and social impact in Indonesia. It reflects recognition of our business model, which combines technological innovation with economic empowerment for both business owners and employees,”
said Jun Waide, Founder and Group CEO of VENTENY.
VENTENY recently received the Orange Seal Certification from IIX, an international recognition of its commitment to gender equality and environmental sustainability.
The certification affirms that VENTENY’s operations align with IIX’s global standards on ESG principles and impact measurement.
With IIX’s support, VENTENY aims to further expand access to responsible financial services for women workers and underserved communities while enhancing technology to better support MSMEs and foster inclusive economic growth in Indonesia.
