PT Krom Bank Indonesia Tbk, a digital bank and subsidiary of Kredivo Group, has renewed its partnership with global SaaS cloud banking platform Mambu for another five years.
The extension follows their collaboration on the launch of the Krom digital banking app in 2024.
Krom, which seeks to serve Indonesia’s largely unbanked and underbanked population, first partnered with Mambu in March 2022.
Within a year, the bank launched a range of personal and business banking products, including current accounts, savings, and term deposits.
The bank has since grown rapidly, using Mambu’s core banking platform and Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure to provide fully digital financial services.
The renewed partnership will support the rollout of additional deposit and loan products, the integration of generative AI-driven services, and enhancements to cloud capabilities and product development.

“Mambu has proven to be a powerful partner from day one. Our renewed partnership is a key step in Krom’s long-term strategy to build a scalable, innovative, and inclusive digital bank for Indonesians,”
said Anton Hermawan, President Director of Krom Bank.
“With Mambu’s cloud-native core and the flexibility it provides, we’ve been able to launch products faster, remain compliant, and deliver a seamless experience to customers.”
David Becker, Managing Director and Head of APAC Sales at Mambu, said:

“Krom Bank is a strong example of how modern technology can support growth and agility in complex markets. We’re proud to continue supporting Krom’s mission to expand access to quality digital banking in Indonesia.”
Krom is the first fully digital bank in Indonesia built on Mambu’s SaaS platform and AWS infrastructure, reflecting how cloud-based, API-enabled systems can accelerate banking innovation and scale in emerging markets.
