Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) and Bank Saqu have announced a partnership to expand digital financial inclusion in Indonesia.
Bank Saqu’s digital banking services are now integrated into IOH’s MyIM3 and Bima+ applications, providing Indosat users with easier access to financial tools.
The collaboration aims to leverage IOH’s propensity models to offer targeted financial solutions, particularly to the growing solopreneur market.
Indonesia’s internet penetration stands at 78%, limiting access to digital financial services, especially in rural areas.
The partnership seeks to address this gap by combining banking and network accessibility to reach underbanked and unbanked communities.
Bank Saqu offers Tabung Matic, an automatic savings tool, which rounds up QRIS transactions and deposits the spare change into Saku Booster, a rewards account offering up to 10% interest per year, subject to terms and conditions.
To promote the partnership, Indosat customers who open a Bank Saqu account through the IOH apps before 31 May 2025, can receive cashback rewards.
Hong Kong’s WeLab, in collaboration with Astra Financial, had launched Bank Saqu in Indonesia in November 2023.

Ritesh Kumar Singh, Director and Chief Commercial Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, stated,
“Our innovative alliance with Bank Saqu is a testament to our commitment to delivering a world-class digital experience that empowers Indonesians.
With the customers insights and propensity model, we can effectively reach the right users.”

Leo Koesmanto, President Director of PT Bank Jasa Jakarta, shared,
“As a Financial Partner (#TemanSeperjuangan), we are committed to helping individuals, especially solopreneurs, manage their finance with ease and witness their businesses flourish through tailored services that foster positive financial habits.
The collaboration introduces innovative banking features to Indosat’s customers, encouraging responsible money management and effortless saving habits.”
