KASIKORNBANK (KBank) has officially launched KBank Indonesia, opening its headquarters in Jakarta on August 31, 2026.
President Rungruang Sukkirdkijpiboon and senior management attended the opening ceremony, marking a milestone in KBank’s regional expansion strategy.
Fitch Ratings Indonesia also assigned KBank Indonesia an AA+(idn) credit rating, reflecting its financial position and long-term growth potential.
Indonesia’s growth potential drove the expansion, with a population of more than 285 million and projected annual economic growth averaging around 5% through 2030, driven by manufacturing, consumer goods, digital services and infrastructure investment.
The new entity builds on KBank’s regional business network, aiming to connect businesses to cross-border trade and investment opportunities.
The bank said it will deepen local market expertise and expand its financial service capabilities to support both Thai and international investors expanding across ASEAN.
