CoreWeave is expanding its AI cloud platform to Indonesia with the development of three data centres.
The Nasdaq-listed company expects the facilities to come online in 2028, adding 360 megawatts of contracted IT power capacity in the country.
The Indonesian buildout marks CoreWeave’s first physical presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
CoreWeave will own and operate the compute environments, supporting latency-sensitive workloads and data locality requirements for AI users across Southeast Asia.

“CoreWeave goes where we can bring AI pioneers the capacity, performance, and reliability they need to build and scale their ideas,”
said Sachin Jain, Chief Operating Officer, CoreWeave.
Jain said Indonesia’s investments in AI education and digital capacity have helped position the country as a growing destination for global technology investment.
The expansion supports Indonesia’s efforts to strengthen digital infrastructure, expand domestic AI capabilities and grow its digital economy.
CoreWeave also plans to establish a local team to operate the facilities and support technical talent development in the country.
