TrendAI has launched a local data centre in Indonesia to host its AI-powered cybersecurity platform, TrendAI Vision One, expanding its regional infrastructure and supporting local data residency requirements.
The facility, which went live on 1 July 2026, marks TrendAI’s 12th regional data centre globally.
It enables Indonesian customers to store and process account data and security telemetry within the country. The local hosting capability helps organisations address data localisation requirements and reduce challenges associated with cross-border data transfers.
The deployment comes as Indonesian organisations face increasing cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
These include obligations under the fully enforced Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP), alongside cybersecurity and data localisation guidelines from the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
TrendAI said the local infrastructure supports government entities, regulated enterprises, telecommunications companies, and critical infrastructure providers.
The company noted that more than 135 banks under OJK supervision can use the local hosting capabilities to support their cybersecurity and compliance efforts.
The launch follows Trend Micro’s March 2026 rebranding of its enterprise business unit as TrendAI.
Its TrendAI Vision One platform combines cyber risk exposure management, security operations, and AI-driven threat hunting capabilities within a unified cybersecurity platform.
Fetra Syahbana, Country Manager for TrendAI Indonesia, said the local deployment would help Indonesian enterprises access locally hosted security capabilities. It would also allow them to maintain access to TrendAI’s global threat intelligence network.

“We are empowering Indonesian enterprises to lead the future of AI with proactive, locally resilient security designed to eliminate risk, turning stringent data residency and regulatory compliance into a strategic advantage,”
said Syahbana.
The infrastructure includes zero-trust security architecture, end-to-end encryption, and redundancy across power, cooling, network, compute, and storage systems.
TrendAI said the local hosting option is available as a new capability for existing Indonesian customers. It does not require mandatory migration and does not replace customers’ own compliance responsibilities.
