Bank Jago, an Indonesian digital bank, has announced a multi-year collaboration with Google Cloud to enhance its operations, products, and services through advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI).

The partnership involves Bank Jago and its technology partner, DKatalis, utilising Google Cloud’s BigQuery and Vertex AI platforms to improve customer experiences, streamline operations, and deliver innovative financial solutions tailored to evolving customer needs.

Bank Jago reportedly serves over 14 million customers as of the third quarter of 2024.

The collaboration leverages Google Cloud’s secure-by-design infrastructure, enabling the bank to scale its digital services efficiently to meet the demands of its growing customer base.

Through the integration of generative AI capabilities, Bank Jago is deploying AI-driven applications.

This includes fraud detection tools that analyse transaction patterns and provide real-time alerts, customer sentiment analysis tools that distill engagement data into actionable insights, and coaching tools for contact center agents that accelerate skill development and quality assurance.

The bank also benefits from Vertex AI Pipelines, which standardise workflows for validating AI solutions, and Vertex AI Model Registry, which centralises approved AI models to accelerate development and mitigate risks.

Under our new collaboration, it is embracing a platform-based approach to rapidly and responsibly bring enterprise-grade gen AI solutions to market.
