Embedded finance has settled into the region’s everyday digital life. Payments, credit and wallets now sit inside platforms customers use for something else entirely.
What has not settled is who captures the value.
The platform owns the journey and the data. Someone further back supplies the licence, the balance sheet and the underlying infrastructure and carries the risk when something goes wrong.
Both sides claim the customer, and the economics between them are still being renegotiated deal by deal.
The competitive picture is also shifting. Some platforms have stopped partnering for banking capability and started acquiring it.
Some fintechs are applying for licences rather than renting them.
So banks and fintechs are working out the same thing. Which position in the chain is actually worth holding and what does it take to win from there?
This webinar will explore:
- Which parts of an embedded journey still earn a return and which have been commoditised?
- Does wider access to data and open finance change who can compete?
- What should technology leaders prioritise to launch and adapt faster?
- How could agentic AI redefine competitive advantage?
