Mekari, a Software as a Service company in Indonesia, today announced the acquisition of Desty, an omnichannel commerce platform that supports thousands of businesses in managing sales across multiple channels.
Mekari provides integrated business solutions and is used by over 35,000 companies and one million professionals in Indonesia.
Its products include Mekari Talenta for HR and payroll, Mekari Jurnal for accounting and operations, Mekari Qontak for CRM and omnichannel engagement, Mekari Officeless, Mekari Expense, Mekari Sign and others.
The platform is designed to help businesses manage operations efficiently and productively.
The acquisition of Desty expands Mekari’s services into the area of omnichannel commerce, which has become increasingly important due to changes in consumer behaviour and retail digitalisation.
The integration allows businesses to manage inventory, orders, warehouses, products, and customer interactions across multiple marketplaces automatically, while linking directly to Mekari’s finance, operations, and HR systems.

“The integration of Desty into the Mekari ecosystem will help businesses reduce operational complexity. From inventory and finance to customer communication, everything can be managed in one platform. The goal is simple, make businesses more efficient so they can focus on growth,”
said Suwandi Soh, CEO of Mekari.
Suwandi Soh added that the acquisition reflects a shared vision to connect businesses with technology that meets their needs comprehensively.
“With Desty, we are expanding the Mekari ecosystem from back office to commerce. Our vision is for every business in Indonesia, from SMEs to enterprises, to access technology that was previously only available to major players,”
he said.
Dennis Harsono, CEO of Desty, said,

“For Desty users, nothing changes except more opportunities. With the Mekari ecosystem, our services will be stronger, more integrated, and provide access to capabilities previously unavailable.”
He added,
“Omnichannel is no longer a choice, but a necessity. With Mekari’s support, we aim to ensure every merchant, from small businesses to major brands, can grow faster and smarter.”
Founded in 2021, Desty has developed from Desty Page into Desty Store, Desty Chat, Desty POS, and Desty Omni.
The platform allows retail businesses and brands to manage online and offline channels in one system.
